Getting rid of the Junk!

I’ve noticed that every time I’ve made a deliberate action to curtail the strategies of the Enemy to steal some aspect of my life, I have invariably come out of it the worst!

It’s as though I’ve deliberately invited Him, the ‘Enemy’, to put me under his feet and crush me down to a pulp!

And yet, still unperturbed I have often gone back for more!

For example, when at 40 years I decided I was ready for a career change and chose ‘Life Coaching’ (to replace my Graphic Design career) I was tested in every single way possible!

Even though I fought with every last breath, I was beaten remorsely. Not a very encouraging spectacle for my burgeoning Coaching career!

Christian Breakthrough!

“Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ…”

The trouble is, I had been doing it in my own strengh. I’d been trying to discard the rubbish I’d accumulated, rather than giving the rubbish to Jesus! He took my shame, the guilt and fears. In Him I am a new creation, so that in stead of acknowledging Satan’s right to steel and destroy. I declare what I now have and who I now am IN HIM.

Are you ready to change your life? Christian Life Coaching will motivate you to action!

Be Free from Rejection

How to live free from Rejection!

The spirit behind ‘Rejection’ is a harsh and often cruel Task-Master!

It works like this: say for example in the area of Public Speaking or addressing an audience, the fear of getting it all wrong will drive you to dwell upon it until you feel sick!.

images-1In your heart there is no escape! And by now fear has convinced you will never be able to face an audience again. You’ve done your best. You have rehearsed, memorised chunks of material but there’s no way out of it; you’re Stuck! Or at least your Soul is Stuck!

Thankfully the heart say’s another truth about you.

The heart say’s that “you can do all things through Christ Jesus who strengthens you!” And that through His Word He tells you how much he is loves you. He also knows the plans He has for you, to prosper to give you a hope and a future.”

So next time you are called to speak, confront, challenge or release your God-given gifts, KNOW that you are doing it through Him. AND NOT YOU! Ask for His help and He will send The Spirit to intervene

Arise Godly Father Figures in the Church

When we are not affirmed by a Godly ‘father figure’, life can be an up-hill struggle.

0001
God the Father ordained that man should not be alone, but be placed in families where mutual trust and encouragement would be the norm. Our value and worth is related to what we do and how we are nurtured within the context of ‘Family’.

And yet as the very fabric of ‘families in society’ wears so thin, even fathers are now relinquishing their traditional and God made roles of authority and affirmation.

Increasingly marriages are breaking down and children and young adults are growing up without a strong concept of ‘fathering’. It is truly amazing what people can do when they know the strength of a father figure rooting for them.

So, my call is Arise, ‘father figures’ in the church and let us make a positive move to re-dress the balance.”

Are you ready for Change, Believer?

Why not make this year the year to make changes.

Look to your heart. What do you want to see happening in the year ahead. What can you choose to put your faith to?

My personal New Year’s challenge is to see people differently; not to see them as they seem to be or as people see them but to see them as God see’s them! And hopefully – eventually – as they would desire to see them selves.

As far as Father God is concerned He see’s each one of us precious in His sight; each of us has a plan and purpose to fulfil. A plan that gives us value and esteem. What a tragedy that so many of us can completely miss God’s Plan for our life.

So, where you think you may have missed your High Calling, remember God say’s He will not leave you nor forsake you.

Meanwhile I have decided to place on my heart one or two people to pray for this year. And to see them as God see’s them.

Where there is no Vision the people perish (Proverbs 29:18)

Coffee Time Article that will challenge you in your Planning for this coming Year.

“What is the Vision for my Business?”

images-1With pen and paper to hand I begin crafting a New Year’s Resolution concerning my ‘Christian Coaching Ministry.’ Initially I make a weak attempt to plan for 5 new clients every week; which means I would need to increase my Marketing activity by 50%

Is that possible? Yes, but only with a lot of hard work! … Or a miracle!

A little dis-heartened I sit back in my chair to peruse my environment. I’m seated in a favorite Cafe. Conversation’s flow freely here among the clicking of Lap Tops and clatter of coffee machines. It’s a place of comfort and inspiration. And yet, I’m still stuck! Eventually, my eyes are drawn to a chalked Black Board sign that reads – “Coffee doesn’t ask silly questions – Coffee Understands”

How often I sought the comfort of coffee, and the atmosphere that goes with it. But I now see that it’s not the false comfort of coffee nor the people that I hanker after but of the presence of God. For He alone is the Vision for my Business.

How To Truly Honour Christian Leaders

Honour

As Human Beings we instinctively expect to be honoured and to be made to matter.

No matter what our status or position in life; nor creed nor colour, the fact is that we are made in the image of God the Father. And somewhere in the depth of our heart we know it!

Whereas the ‘world’ would seek to honour those of high status, fame and fortune, God’s heart is for the lost, the broken, humble and rejected. To ignore their fate would be a crime against our Creator. Especially where this goes on in the Body of Christ.

The very fact that we have been given free will to choose to love what God loves and to hate what He hates is ample evidence of our identity in God our Creator.

This is of course a heart matter and one we must firstly receive directly from Father God with all reverence and humility.

To honour one another in the Body of Christ is to:

1. Give each person a chance to express their Gifts & Talents, 2. Not compare one with another in the church- nor with the World. 3. Explain why some people are perceived to not having an anointing to Minister. 4. Work with those Individuals to help them to discover their true talent and gifting. 5. Be honest and open as to where these Individuals are currently
