How To Truly Honour Christian Leaders

Honour

As Human Beings we instinctively expect to be honoured and to be made to matter.

No matter what our status or position in life; nor creed nor colour, the fact is that we are made in the image of God the Father. And somewhere in the depth of our heart we know it!

Whereas the ‘world’ would seek to honour those of high status, fame and fortune, God’s heart is for the lost, the broken, humble and rejected. To ignore their fate would be a crime against our Creator. Especially where this goes on in the Body of Christ.

The very fact that we have been given free will to choose to love what God loves and to hate what He hates is ample evidence of our identity in God our Creator.

This is of course a heart matter and one we must firstly receive directly from Father God with all reverence and humility.

To honour one another in the Body of Christ is to:

1. Give each person a chance to express their Gifts & Talents, 2. Not compare one with another in the church- nor with the World. 3. Explain why some people are perceived to not having an anointing to Minister. 4. Work with those Individuals to help them to discover their true talent and gifting. 5. Be honest and open as to where these Individuals are currently

A close up on Christian Healing Confessions.

NPG x28780,Charles William Anderson Scott,by News Chronicleby Peter J. Foster
From past experiences of having received an anointed prayer of healing – even though I knew I’d been healed – I allowed symptoms talk me out of it; only to slip back again to a ‘mentality’ of ill health! In the Book of the Prophet Jonah, chapter 2 v 8, the Lord warns we are not to forsake our mercy by observing lying vanities.
The lying vanities in the case of physical infirmity are the symptoms of sickness. We must remember that they have no legal right on us. The truth is that Jesus took them on the Cross and by His stripes we were healed. God the Father’s will for us is that we would live in Divine Health all the days of our life. He has made provision for such through His Word.
It is our part to receive His Word by faith and resist the devil’s lies of ‘symptoms’. Only then will we see God’s Glory manifest – and remain!
Here are 35 Confessions that will help you keep your healing.
1 The symptoms are not the sickness; they are signs of sickness which I do not have. They are on the outside trying to get in. Do not accept them!
2 I am the sick recovering my inheritance.
3 Patience is not ‘enduring suffering’ but is constant in faith – with a heart of expectation.
4 Death and life is in the power of the tongue, not in the power of the devil.
5 Faith say’s: “I refuse to let it dictate my life!”
6 Be strong in faith. Give God glory. He’s already done it; now tell everyone!
7 Testify to your miracle before it happens!
8 Speak to your body. Tell it to be strong and to conform to the Word!
9 When your blessing comes to your heart – you’ll have it. See ‘health’ in the heart.
10 Salvation is a return to God’s original plan for your life.
11 Talk about your great future.
12 You have to believe first then speak and believe. You have to know in your heart that you believe.
13 Pass from physical to Spiritual thinking to get healing.
14 God will only be to me what I believe Him to be.
15 I have roads of success in my mind before I can build roads.
16 Don’t struggle to be more pure, holy or righteous; you already have it in Christ.
17 Because of Righteousness, through faith, the Spirit gives life.
18 The Spirit quickens our mortal body despite state of blood.
19 Success or failure is in our spirit.
20 Prayer doesn’t heal. It’s faith that makes us whole.
21 Without faith it’s impossible to please God. (Hebrews 11:6)
22 Everything not like Christ must be removed.
23 Be it unto you according to your faith.
24 Knowledge is not power; but the application of knowledge is power.
25 He doesn’t consider whether I have faith. He’s already dealt me a measure of faith.
26 He answers when you ask.
27 Step into Jesus’ shoes and ask the Father directly.
28 I am in the place of Jesus. The voice of Jesus…
29 My faith is based on the faith of Jesus.
30 I’m not looking for breakthrough; I broke through when Jesus broke through death.
31 Look not at seen but unseen reality.
32 I’m no longer controlled by symptoms but by the Word of God.
33 God’s faith is Jesus – the Word become flesh. All I need is faith in Jesus.
34 I’m not trying to ‘become something’; It’s who I already am in Christ Jesus.
35 As Jesus is, so am I in this World. (1 John 4:17)

If you are believing for your healing, consider having someone stand with you in a prayer of faith. Take time out to be saturated with the Word of Faith. Have someone come into agreement with you. As a Christian Life Coach I am here to encourage you in your healing.

How To reach the Top of your Christian Mountain

mountainwithwords

We so long to step out in faith and bring the Kingdom of Heaven into situations and circumstances affecting our lives. But somehow we just seem to hit a brick wall! Thankfully the Word of God tells us how to overcome every obstruction.

Although we are encouraged to pray more, to rebuke the ‘Devour’ and to declare Scripture that affirms our God-given rights; there’s still something missing!

Frustrated and disappointed we throw our hands into the air concluding that it’s all our own fault and that we are stuck due to a lack of faith (or some other sin that is blocking our prayers.) And so we repent more and we pray more.

Result: Condemnation and failure!

But I have good news for you, this is the exact place where The Lord wants us – fully emptied of ourselves and fully dependant upon Him. For it is in Him, Jesus alone, that we “can do all things through Christ that strengthens us.” It is His strength, not our strength that open’s doors that no man can open; so that we have the opportunity to become more and more like Him – growing in the power of His might.

Paul the Apostle put’s it this way: “For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily: and you are complete in Him,who is the head of all principality and power. (Col 2:9-10)

Life Coaching for the Christian is about helping Believers see themselves as God see’s them and doing all that God see’s them doing, expressed as Goals.

Often involving letting go of past dissappointments, the Coach will encourage their Client to move forward in achieving Goals by increasing their motivation and ‘Christ confidence.’

The process aims to inspire thoughts through patient questioning, active listening and prophetic insight. Resultant thoughts are translated into motivation by the great benefits that can be achieved; thus making transformation a real possibility.

The process works best when the Client is ready to outwork the level of freedom they have received through the ministry of prayer and counseling.

“Peter has drawn out of me much that my heart desires in serving the Lord and has made it possible to go forward in life” (L.O. London)

How To Promote a Successful Christian Ministry

When you’ve been blessed through a Christian Ministry, you just want to tell others about it; even Minister the very same thing. The word Ministry means ‘Giving people what you have been given.’

There are many Christians who have a creative streak – even Entrepreneurial – who would love to develop their talent and offer it as a full or part-time Ministry.
And why not? It is honoring to give people what has been given to you.

So how do you go about promoting your own Christian Ministry? Let me tell you how I have gone about it.

When I began my “Christian Life Coach” Ministry I prayed long and hard for an opportunity to present it to the Leadership of my church.

During that time the Lord took opportunity to ‘try my heart’ for any motives that were not of Him and for me to make it clear in my own mind what is the true Biblical basis for coaching within the Body of Christ.

When my opportunity came to present my Christian Ministry to the Leadership, it was as though the Lord had laid out a Red Carpet before me. Within a short time I had an enthusiastic thumbs-up!

But, it would have been wrong to expect the church to do all the promoting for me. I have a leading role in communicating the positive benefits of coaching through ‘Talks’, Seminars, Free Promotional offers and Inspirational articles.

Similarly it would have been wrong to confine my coaching ministry to my church only, but to think of reaching the wider church.

So how did I do it?

For the past 12 months I have been learning how to reach out to my potential Christian ‘market’ through Digital Media and conventional Media.
What follows is a brief summary of past, present and on-going marketing activity.

1. A Website presence is essential. Ensure you use ‘Key words’ in the title and text that people are searching for on ‘Google’. To discover what are the most popular words being searched for on your subject go to ‘Adwords Key Tool’.

2. Add a Blog to your website – either actually on your website or linked from your website to a social websites such as ‘WordPress’. This will help engage folk in your offering (as this, hopefully, is engaging you, my precious reader!)

3. Write about your subject from different angles and with different target markets in mind. So, for example you could write about those seeking Inner Healing; Relationship issues; Christian Gifts; Talents and career matters.

4. Again, ensure your Blog title is being well searched for by checking with ‘Adwords’ and then seeing how many ‘Google’ searches there are for your title and subject. If there is huge competition on Google you need to weigh up the chances of being seen

*5. Ensure your website is not only a static page because ‘Google’ will not rate it very highly (neither will the reader!). Include a number of pages with changing text. ‘Google’ like these more spontanious and continuously changing websites; another good reason for adding a Blog to your Website.

6. Social Media Marketing is a sometimes bewildering means of getting your message across – to potentially thousands of people. I personally like LinkedIn and Google+. They are fairly straight-forward and easy to understand. There are plenty of ‘How To…’ articles and You Tubes videos instructing you to become your own expert. Be patient and organized in your explorations and weigh carefully the potential benefits.

7. Please do not forget conventional marketing tools such as: Business Cards, Small A5 Leaflets, Letterhead paper, and small adverts in appropriate media. These do still attract attention! Even better. Seek an accomplished Designer to ‘hone’ your message to your potential target market.

8. More on general advertising: use sparingly and only with a ‘time-limited’ offer.

9. Meanwhile, make yourself accountability to a Coach, Church Leader or trusted friend with help keep you on-track with your promotional activities.

10. Practice ‘presenting’ your Christian Ministry to firstly yourself (in a mirror) then to others. Hone it down to it’s unique proposition. Focus on the benefits to the client and be sure you believe it yourself too!
