Relationship with God the Father

Relationship

Relationship

‘Living in faith’.
I have called myself a Believer with great passion. I minister to folk who need Coaching in areas of Parenting, Gifts, Talents, Career and Relationships.
Suffice to say I am a committed Christian and am often called upon for my prophetic words, prophetic songs and prayers for the sick.
But, after all these years I cannot say that I have a proper relationship with my Heavenly Father.
I go through the motions and get great Spiritual breakthroughs with Him. I meditate upon the Bible and can recite passages from proverbs and Psalms.
But after many years trying to know the Lord more clearly, I have concluded I have something of an ‘Orphan Spirit’.
I grew up a loner and lived as a single man for many years. Inevitably I took my loneliness to the workplace, and to the family and finally to the church..
To my surprise, when I became a Christian I witnessed many other orphans both in and out side the church.
The only cure I’ve found to this loneliness is through ‘Relationship’ This is the missing key to isolation; not only in the church but in the office, shop, family and fellowship.
The Relationship I am speaking of is of a continual stream of Father’s love.
Speaking to Him in our inner man, thanking Him, glad of His presence, help, encouragement and confidence – all being received by faith.
Continual communication with the Father in this way develops a strong and meaningful Prayer life.
The relationship that develops is as a father/mother relationship whereby we know He is with us and we can refer to Him continually.
No more an Orphan/son or Daughter.

Life Coaching for the Christian is about helping Believers see themselves as God see’s them and doing all that God see’s them doing, expressed as Goals.

Often involving letting go of past dissappointments, the Coach will encourage their Client to move forward in achieving Goals by increasing their motivation and ‘Christ confidence.’

The process aims to inspire thoughts through patient questioning, active listening and prophetic insight. Resultant thoughts are translated into motivation by the great benefits that can be achieved; thus making transformation a real possibility.

The process works best when the Client is ready to outwork the level of freedom they have received through the ministry of prayer and counseling.

“Peter has drawn out of me much that my heart desires in serving the Lord and has made it possible to go forward in life” (L.O. London)

Bible Verses for Christian Life Coaching

Christian Life Coaching

If you are looking to advance in any aspect of your Christian Life, Coaching offers many tried and tested skills that will help get you from where you are now to where you want to be – expressed as a Goal. Bible Verses empower us to prosper: Spirit, Soul & Body.

It is important to see your ambitions as Goals – a Goal being a more determined and quantifiable ambition! Christian Life Coaching works with Goals.

As a Christian Life Coach I have seen over and over again the need for my Client to ‘Let go of those things which are behind’  e.g.: hurts, fears, disappointments, failures – even negative vows made over themselves – ‘and to ‘press towards the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.’ (Phil 3:13) This Bible Verse is a necessary and Biblical concept to produce positive change.

And where the client has had a degree of Counselling (which some folk regard as a-kin to Life Coaching) regarding hurts, disappointments and fears, I see them move forward far more positively to the achievement of Goals during the Coaching process.

These are the clients who are putting into action the freedom they have found in prayerful Counselling and are outworking their freedom by faith to achieve goals. Applying and believing relevant Bible Verses is ‘Key’ to success!

I have somehow seamlessly integrated basic Counselling skills into my ministry of Christian Life Coaching; not to linger over-long on their issues but to believe that, in the process of the achievement of Goals, they will bring about a speedy healing prayed through in their Counselling Sessions.

The bottom line is always Biblical ‘Mind Renewal’ through relivant Bible Verses ie, seeing ourselves as God sees us – based upon the Word of God – and doing what God sees us doing.

This is the active ingredient that changes us from the inside to the outside: the Ministry of the Holy Spirit, the Word of God and our commitment to develop our talents, gifting, ministries, relationships and health – Christian Life Coaching is a catalyst for positive change.

Here are a few short Bible verses that would seem to confirm the Biblical validity of Christian Life Coaching…

“When He ascended on high, He led captivity captive, And gave gifts to men.”

Psalm 68:18

“… walk worthy of the calling with which you were called.”

Eph. 4:1

“For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, Which h God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.”

Eph. 2:10

“Encourage one another and build each other up”

1 Thess 5:11

“Therefore comfort each other and edify one another, just as you are also doing.”

Proverbs 27 : 17

“As iron sharpens iron, So a man sharpens the countenance of man.”

Phil 3:14

“I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus,”

If you are seeking to make changes to any aspect of your life, please consider Life Coaching to be a great Biblical asset in ‘breaking new Ground’ for the Lord.

Prosperity Gospel. “Promises In The Bible”

With the Economy suffering the effects of overheating, I realise that I been been spending not only my money in excess but have been ‘spending’ my words in excess too!

The senseless greed that has been driving me to buy more or less whatever I want has been driving me to ‘SAY’ more or less whatever I want! If it ‘pops into my mind’ then I’ll say it. (Often with dire consequences!)

The Bible says that out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. So the question I have to ask myself is ‘What is in my heart?’
Well, I guess the truth is there is a mixture of good stuff and bad stuff! There is a good deposit of God’s Word; and there is a deposit of the bad stuff of the world and the flesh – which is all fear-based!

Each moment of my waking day I have a choice to speak either good or bad – ‘life or death,’- as the Bible puts it.

So, now I see clearly the effects of drawing from a bankrupt financial economy, I am jolted into considering the effects of overdrawing from my bankrupt economy of the Word of God. Do I have enough of the life of God in me to weather these turbulent times?

I have come to the decision that NOW is the time to invest in the inflation busting, powerful and life-giving Word of God – not only to ‘weather the storms’ of life’s ups and downs but to prosper ‘in any situation and any economy. God’s Word is the only economy that will never go bust!

Perhaps you’d like to speak out and meditate on these Scriptural Promises, until they become part of your very being.

“Delight yourself in the Lord; and He shall give you the desires of your heart.” Ps. 37:4

“Blessed be the Lord, who daily loads us with benefits, even the God of our salvation.” Ps. 68:19

“That I may cause those that love Me to inherit substance; and I will fill their treasures.” Prov. 8:21

“But seek first the Kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” Mt. 6:33

“But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” Phil. 4:6

“Let the Lord be magnified, who has pleasure in the prosperity of His servant.” Ps. 35:27b

“That I may cause those that love me to inherit substance; and I will fill their treasures.” Prov. 8:21

“Beloved, I wish above all things that you may prosper and be in health, even as your should prospers.” 111 Jn. 2

I hope you have a happy and prosperous New Year.
