Coached By Jesus

Someone looking into your life can be of great value.

An outsider is able to see your predicament without fear or doubt.images
Often a ‘Word in Season’ can be the key that unlocks your present situation.

If only we could have such a person in our live’s: guiding and encouraging us.

Thankfully, as Christians we do have that Person -The person of the Holy Spirit.

We have the word of God and the Spirit working in all things together for them that love Him.

If we have faithfully stored up God’s Word within our heart’s we are able to quickly repel lies and deceptions of Satan. And rise up in rule and authority.

Relationship with God the Father

Relationship

Relationship

‘Living in faith’.
I have called myself a Believer with great passion. I minister to folk who need Coaching in areas of Parenting, Gifts, Talents, Career and Relationships.
Suffice to say I am a committed Christian and am often called upon for my prophetic words, prophetic songs and prayers for the sick.
But, after all these years I cannot say that I have a proper relationship with my Heavenly Father.
I go through the motions and get great Spiritual breakthroughs with Him. I meditate upon the Bible and can recite passages from proverbs and Psalms.
But after many years trying to know the Lord more clearly, I have concluded I have something of an ‘Orphan Spirit’.
I grew up a loner and lived as a single man for many years. Inevitably I took my loneliness to the workplace, and to the family and finally to the church..
To my surprise, when I became a Christian I witnessed many other orphans both in and out side the church.
The only cure I’ve found to this loneliness is through ‘Relationship’ This is the missing key to isolation; not only in the church but in the office, shop, family and fellowship.
The Relationship I am speaking of is of a continual stream of Father’s love.
Speaking to Him in our inner man, thanking Him, glad of His presence, help, encouragement and confidence – all being received by faith.
Continual communication with the Father in this way develops a strong and meaningful Prayer life.
The relationship that develops is as a father/mother relationship whereby we know He is with us and we can refer to Him continually.
No more an Orphan/son or Daughter.

“What Do You Want?”

The Key To Power is Desire!

If you don’t know what you want, you will probably end up either doing nothing or doing what others want you to do; which maybe ok, or not!

The Key to your Future BlessingsBy default our wants and needs will gravitate towards the easy option; for example, staying in that low paid job, Ministry, Church, Relationship etc,. even though we may be wanting more out of our relationship with the Lord.

What are we to do then in oder to fulfil that sense of purpose and destiny in our hearts?

On the one hand we don’t want to behave in a presumptuous manner , but on the other hand neither do we want to miss it!

In the Book of Mark: 10.51, Jesus asked His Disciples a simple question –  “What do you want me to do for you?  Until our desire’s come from the heart they have no power to fulfil our purpose.

Although Jesus would have known the answer to His own question, He needed His Disciples to speak out loud what they’d heard Him say. Similarly He’s waiting for us too!

“Passion!”

Spring Cleaning the Mental Clutter

imgres-1If you are like me you’ll have Post It Notes clinging to every available space: at your desk, your computer and beyond. I’ve even found one such preditor clinging to my cheek bone which, when decifered, reminded me to remove the other Post It Note on the back of my wrist, telling me to buy some more Post It notes and sundry stationary whilst in Sainsbury’s.

These spontanious ideas and reminders that promise so much, serve only one purpose and that is to drain me of all mental peace and sanity. The clutter, of course, goes way beyond the office in ever increasing creativity. So much so you may suggest I invest in an electronic devise to remind me of just about anything the ‘Enemy of my Soul’ could possibly cause me to forget. But, I’m sorry, I JUST DON’T DO  ELECTRONIC DEVISES – Why not? Simple reason it would necessitate 4 or 5 Post It Notes just to remind me how to operate the ‘Darned thing! ……. Born out of time, I guess!

Hearing From God For your Christian Healing & Wholeness

images-7The primary means of Hearing from God for your Healing is through His Word.

I find that as I meditate on what I read in the Bible I begin to recognise His voice speaking to my Soul about many aspects of my life.

For example, on the subject of physical healing, I read over and over in The Word as to what God my Father say’s about healing. I become fully persuaded that Jesus Himself took upon His body my infirmities and pain – “And with His stripes I was healed.” 1 Peter 2:24

There is a caveat to this promise I believe. I have to be fully persuaded that what I read in the Bible – His Word, is true!

One of the primary schemes of the Enemy of our Soul is to cause us to disbelieve what God say’s is true. He will attempt to bring up fears, failure, hurts, rejection and sins from the past. All of which can fester in the soul causing more ‘Dis – ease’

The un-renewed soul, the home of the mind, will and emotions will attempt to make us feel unworthy in receiving our unearned favour from the Lord. A renewed soul, on the other hand, will enable us to receive the flow of life that brings freedom and healing.

I believe this flow comes about by meditating on His Word, Worshipping Him, knowing who we are In Christ Jesus and declaring the Truth that makes us free!

Understanding Sowing and Reaping

The Key to Abundant Living

Lenzkirch-KeyWhen you stand back and look at your life as an impartial observer you begin to see definite patterns taking place related to your business, your relationships, finances, health and peace of mind.

For example, the attitude you had towards your mother could be the same attitude your daughter now has towards you. The judgements you made against others for their supposed wrong doings are now the same judgements you are receiving from others.

This is the law of ‘sowing and reaping’. It works for good and it works for bad. It is entirely neutral.

The really cool thing about understanding the dynamics behind the principal of sowing and reaping is that you can begin to make choices as to what you want to reap, depending upon what you sow. In other words you can learn how to harvest the crop that you want – and not any old crop that comes along.

So, for example, if like a farmer you sow potatoes, you will reap potatoes. If you want weeds you just do nothing and the weeds do their own thing anyway. If you are now feeling a hapless victim of your random and seemingly un-planned sowing and reaping. All is not lost.

As a qualified ‘farmer of the soul’ I help many folk begin seeing ‘by faith’ the crop they want in their life and accordingly set about preparing the good soil of their hearts to accommodate their dream. It is also worth while ensuring that what you say, during this stage of sowing and reaping, is what you actually want in your heart and therefore, in reality.

Hidden with Christ.

The Key to Relationship with God.

images-2Many years ago I asked my Bank Manager if I could deposit a small collection of Gold Coins in to their Safe.

There was a small fee involved but well worth it compared to the cost of losing the collection.

I asked the man at the Bank how they hid treasured items, such as my small collection of coins. He began to reassure me that the coins would be perfectly safe in the care of the Bank, (not that I was in any way doubting him.) He continued to enlighten me as to how they store precious items in the Safe. Apparently what they do is to put the precious items into a locked drawer within the Safe – (be it jewelry, documents or whatever); which would itself be locked inside a drawer; all of which would be further protected in the bolted Safe.

Pretty safe I’d say! In fact just like your highly protected relationship with God the Father.

Trust in the Lord

I usually begin my Daily Devotional with Scripture reading and Journalling. Normally I write about how I am, what is going on in my life, what I have understood recently by applying His word to my life. And on occasions, I ask Him very frank questions that need speedy answers.

So, this is my prayer life. I invite you into one such Journalling conversation with my Heavenly Father. “Trust i the Lord”

small__421521420
I am treading carefully across a stream on stepping stones. Half way across the river, the water rushing playfully amongst the well-rounded stones, I am thrilled by the adventure but am becoming troubled as to whether I will get to the other side. With my trouser legs rolled up carefully I tread barefoot on the watery stones. There is a point halfway across where I fear I will not get any further. I’m beginning to panic and loose my balance as the now ferocious water bombards me in torrents. I test different steps forward but am loosing my nerve!

Finally I have to admit that I’m stuck! And so, right there caught between each bank of the river I call out to God for help. In the quietness that ensues at the depths of my heart I hear His small still voice:

“At a crucial point,” He says, “normally half way towards your goal, you will be tested. The temptation to give up at this time is at its peak. Continue to “Trust in the Lord”

That’s very true Lord, I reply within my spirit. In many aspects of my faith walk: my healing, deliverance and my ministry, at a particular point where it seems I’m just about to ‘break through’ I am some how or other slammed with fears of failure! Why is that Lord? What can I do to get beyond that fear?

As I wait there, with water rushing all around, I notice a cut off branch that is similarly stuck at this point. It is a metre or so in front of me and so I reach forward to grab it. Thankfully it unhinges itself easily from between the rocks and I pull it to my side. The branch is, conveniently, the size of a walking stick and so by steadying myself with it I manage to make my way safely to the other side.

“What a sturdy companion you have been,” I say to the walking stick. “And what a faithful God I have for presenting it to me just at the right time!”

I lay the stick on a grassy slope beside the river – in readiness for my return journey. And as I walk from the river I hear, in the splashing of water, the voice of the Lord speaking to me:

“My son, do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” (Isaiah 41:10)

I realise at that moment, the Lords right hand may at times be a ‘word in season’, or a person coming alongside to pray, or in this case even a walking stick to get me to the other side. These are the graces made available when we step out, in faith, to do exploits for Him; even in the case of writing a simple parable of His faithfulness.

If you long to do exploits for God, please consider Christian Life Coaching as an effective means of identifying your God-given Gifts & talents and releasing them to accomplish Goals for God. I offer a free Introductory Coaching Session to help get you started.
